Pest control
We can cover all of your requirements for employer’s liability, public liability and property damage. Cover may be extended to include the use of guns, bangers and scare crows for bird deterrence. Bird proofing, netting and clearing birds nests can be insured, together with the use of traps and chemicals for the control of mammals or insects.
The policy can include self-employed gamekeepers and vermin controllers. Separate cover is available for liability and cancellation insurance for game shooting.

Work at height
The standard terms of our policy allow for height work up to 10 metres above ground level. This limit can be increased at additional cost.
Pollution and efficacy
The policy covers claims for physical loss or damage to third party property arising due to in-efficacy of work. Please note that this does not provide a guarantee for defective treatment nor does it cover purely financial loss where no physical damage arises.
Our insurance provides cover for bodily injury or loss or damage to third party property due to pollution where such loss results from a sudden and unforeseen event.
Ancillary activities
So long as the principal business activity is as a pest or vermin controller, we can extend the policy to include the sale of poisons and insecticides, traps and other activities, for example the construction and installation of fly screens.
Property damage
We are able to arrange insurance for buildings, contents, tools, equipment, stock and other property used in association with your business.
Business interruption cover may be added, in order to protect your income following damage by an insured peril.
Excess
The Public Liability and Employers’ Liability sections are not subject to any excess (other than an excess of £250 in respect of damage to third party property). Property damage claims are subject to various levels of excess and full details will be provided at the time of quotation.
