Security and sniffer dogs
We can cover all of your requirements for employer’s liability, public liability and property damage.
Security guards
Our standard policy provides public and employer’s liability insurance for static or mobile guards, where work primarily involves the use of guard dogs. Incidental work without dogs can be included. (Separate insurance can be arranged where the principal activity is guarding without the use of dogs.)
The Cliverton policy includes loss or injury to members of the public caused by security guards and dog handlers, and cover can be extended to include wrongful arrest.
Where you are responsible for access to your customers property, there is the possibility that keys will be lost, resulting in the need to replace locks. The cost of replacement locks can be insured, up to £1,000 any one event.
Sniffer dogs
Insurance is available for users of drug or explosive sniffer dogs, and for dogs used for search and rescue.
Dog training agencies
We are able to arrange insurance for individuals or businesses training security and sniffer dogs, including work overseas or training for export. Professional indemnity cover is available as an extension to the policy.

Property Damage
We are able to arrange insurance for buildings, contents, tools, equipment, stock and other property used in association with your business.
Fire and theft cover is available for working dogs whilst located on your premises, whilst working on customers premises, and we can also offer full mortality cover in transit (including overseas).
Business interruption cover can be added, in order to protect your income following damage by an insured peril.
Excess
The Public Liability and Employers’ Liability sections are not subject to any excess (other than an excess of £250 in respect of damage to third party property). Property damage claims are subject to various levels of excess and full details will be provided at the time of quotation.
