We are delighted to announce our brand new partnership is launched today, 1st March 2022.  The Pet Industry Federation are issuing the press release below:-

“PIF Announces Partnership with Insurance Broker, Cliverton

The Pet Industry Federation (PIF), the UK trade association for pet businesses, is delighted to announce a new insurance partnership with animal business insurance specialists, Cliverton. From today, the partnership will offer benefits to all its members, large and small, for both their business and personal needs by providing a one stop shop and at the same time helping those in our industry who fall on hard times.

Cliverton will offer grooming, boarding, daycare and pet services members bespoke business insurance, as well as home insurance, which is especially important for those running a business from home where standard home insurance policies often exclude business activities on the premises.

For all other PIF members, Cliverton’s sister company, Lycetts Insurance Brokers & Financial Services, a leading top 50 UK insurance broker, will look after larger members and those with more complex insurance needs.

A unique feature of the PIF/Cliverton insurance partnership is that for each member who takes out an insurance policy, Cliverton and Lycetts will contribute an amount into PIF’s Benevolent Fund, which is currently being established to help support the pet industry during hard times.

Nigel Baker, Chief Executive, the Pet Industry Federation said: “We were impressed by Cliverton and Lycetts approach from the outset. They are not your typical insurance people, they talk plain English, really care and are genuinely looking to create a strong and mutually collaborative partnership with PIF. We were really excited by the opportunity to set up the Benevolent Fund and be able to support those of our members who fall on hard times.”
