Following the Prime Ministers’ announcement we are receiving a high number of queries relating to the impact a further lockdown will have on our animal trade insurance policies. Please see below our answers to the two most commonly asked questions:
Should we carry on working?
We are unable to comment on whether you should continue to trade as an essential worker/service. Government guidelines should be followed and your Local Authority and/or trade body should be able to provide you with guidance.
Is my policy operative and would it respond in the event of a claim?
In simple terms, yes. There is nothing within our policy that would exclude cover and so the policy would respond, subject always to the terms and conditions of the policy.
